Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2024 | Guide to New Rides, Events, and 50th Anniversary Planning!

We take a scroll around Busch Gardens Williamsburg to talk about all the exciting things to come in 2024 and beyond.

Peeps we are back at Bush Gardens Williamsburg and we’re here during Christmas Town you can see it behind me um it’s all decorated it’s December 21st as of this recording now we have already done our Christmas time experience so if you’re interested in that I will uh put

A link to it somewhere but if I if it’s not at the end of this video look for this thumbnail right here in our Channel that’s going to be our Christmas Town experience but we are here instead today to talk about what’s coming in 202 4 so

We’re going to walk around the park we’re going to talk about the 2024 stuff and um just kind of get you ready for the upcoming Bush Garden season next year let’s go ahead and start with the fact that Christmas Town continues through the end of the year and there

Will be a New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31st that will end with fireworks at 900 p.m. so if you want to bring in the new year a little early here at Bush Gardens that is December 31st since we’re walking by the Globe Theater um it kind of reminds me of

Carnival imaginique which is a show that’s going to run during Marty grow weekends which starts January 26th and runs weekends until March 3rd I believe contains Cajun food live music and like New Orleans themed shows including the carnival imagine which will be in the Globe Theater right

Here okay as we walk by those carolers to the end of England here and before we enter like the park proper up here they are still doing construction on Squire’s Grill scheduled to open in 2024 it’s going to receive a total upgrade there it’s a new enhanced dining experience

That’s going to be here at the front of the park um in fact here’s some photos here little bit of a closer look at what’s coming to Squire’s Grill in 2024 now no opening date has been announced yet other than 2024 um you know based on

What you can see here still a lot of work left check this out there’s like a christmy uh Loch nness Monster here and speaking of the Loch nness Monster behind me construction continues on The Lochness Monster The Legend Continues we actually told you about it in this video right

Here so look for that on our Channel um they are completely redoing the entire track they’re adding audio um to the ride they’re doing stuff in the queue even though we can’t really see it right now um so that is also scheduled to open in 2024 so definitely check that video

Out if you don’t know all the details we’ve got them all there but you can see it’s kind of closed off you can’t even go through that part of the park right now because they’re doing so much construction down there but Loch Ness coming along like the the loops over

There that you can kind of see there we go and there I think those are like literally the new track they’ve been working on it for a little while now okay we are making our way into Karne Village so it’s probably a good time to tell you guys about St Patrick’s

Day celebration so St Patrick’s Day celebration runs the entire month of March March 8th through March 24th select weekends and and additional dates um and featur like Irish music Irish food all sorts of stuff and it’s almost a good predecessor as it leads into Food and Wine Festival which we’ll talk about

Here in a Second still no announced plans for battle for ir and what’s coming next to that building but I do think colar Diner might be returning next year so we might see that still um in there during uh next year’s Hollow Scream okay we stopped for a beer and some chips at grogan’s Pub so it feels like a good time to talk about Food and Wine Festival which is like our second favorite event of the Year here at Bush Gardens Williamsburg Bush Gardens Food and Wine Festival runs Thursday through

Sunday April 25th through June 13th it is one of our favorite events to come through throughout the year there are different food Boos from all different countries not only the ones represented here but all throughout the world different food Styles different drink Styles we always have a great time we

Come every year um it is like I said one of our favorite events here at Bush Gardens Williamsburg check out these commemorative coins it’s like Bush Gardens the old country like it used to be and I guess those yeah these are the original lands the aquatan Hastings New

France reinfeld Banbury Cross and header downs and it’s got like a cool map up there very cool a certificate of authenticity I’m like these are very nice quality coins okay so while we’re still here in Karne want wanted to take a second to uh to call it that kid’s mom and dad because

He’s very excited to see them on the ride okay so we are still here in all right so we are still here in Karne and just wanted to stop here and talk about how there is a new Summer Event coming to PO cardens this year they have not announced the theme or the

Name but it’s June 14th through I think August 11th um it’s replacing summer nights uh summer nights was like a concert series and fireworks and stuff like that the new Summer Event um that they’re planning no details yet but when it’s an ask you know we’ll tell you about it lot

Of activity going on with these sheep those two are playing over there with that thing fullblown full activity right there and then we’ve got this guy he just sat down and over there that guy’s eating it’s riveting riveting entertainment here people you need to appreciate it oh now they’re full-blown

Head budy oh no they’re fighting and Beyond them it’s a cly’s Dale and some people on the Clyde’s and collie’s tour look at this guy he’s saying peep oh now he’s not saying anything cuz eating there he is look at Hims he’s trying to call you guys out Peeps All right we are making our way past Sesame Street Forest of fun and uh so me and Ernie here wanted to tell you that there are a couple of Sesame Street events coming in 2024 starting with Sesame Street weekends which runs obviously weekends March 29th through April 21st um features you know

Additional character meet and greets and fun Sesame Street themed events also during Hollow scream dates on Saturdays and Sundays September 21st through November 3rd Sesame Street Halloween spectacular features the characters in their Halloween attire that you can come and take pictures with and of course the

Rest of the park will be decorated for holl Scream check it out they are actively working on the new Lochness Monster you can see the sparks in the distance and the guy welding right there on that drop that’s awesome next year all new track right there we’ll be able to ride it together in 2024 keep working dude keep working as

We pass what normally the new beer garden and of course pretzels and beer this is a good place to remind you that Bush Gardens Beer Fest is actually the event that comes after their new Summer Festival it starts August 16th and runs select dates until September 2nd right

In time to end before Hollow scream it features a bunch of different local beers and international beers specialty food items and uh mostly most of it takes place back here in the October Fest area of the park and since I mentioned Hollow scream might as well go

Into it the 25th anniversary of hollow scream comes to bu Gardens select nights September 6th through November 3rd it actually goes past Halloween this year we are super excited it’s the 25th anniversary we anticipate some changes and in fact we’re actually going to talk about one of those changes here in a

Second okay we are out here by the side of the Fest house there’s the Fest house there’s the Black Forest uh special events area back here is Fest House Park where typically we’ve been able to walk through which of the woods and never more chapter 3 this past year well the

Verbage attached to those two houses kind of seemed to indicate that this year was the last year for those houses not surprising they’ve been around a few years and you know like I think Nevermore chapter 3 was called the final chapter of Nevermore and which of the

Woods kind of gave the impression that you know this which of the woods scorched I think was the name of it was also the last year for that house now there’s a lot of rumors that construction should be starting soon as to perhaps a new ride maybe a new roller

Coaster of some kind a familyfriendly roller coaster coming back here to Fest House Park it is just rumor at this time but we talked about that rumor in a video which I’m going to link at the end of this video and here’s the thumbnail in case you need to search for it

Elsewhere on the channel very curious what rumor could be going there but I do think we’ve seen the last of which of the woods and Fest and um never more back there so our IP to those houses we loved Witch of the woods always had a good time with that

And never ever more so but very much looking forward to what could be coming there now construction will continue throughout 2024 so whatever’s opening back there won’t be until 2025 which is the 50th anniversary of Bush Gardens Williamsburg so don’t anticipate that as a 2024 thing but you know you ride the train

You may see some construction not yet but once it starts um but we’re excited maybe we’ll get an announcement next year as to what’s coming back there Just wanted to give an update while we were here that the Build-A-Bear Workshop at Bush Gardens is now open here at the front of the park but most importantly they have Bush Gardens exclusive items they’ve got this highland cow he’s got a little Bush Gardens

They’ve got a big bad wolf right what is this say oh does that say Dad no B oh Build The Bear huh and uh they’ve got a giraffe even though they don’t have giraffes at this park they have him in Tampa and we are in the polar pathway

There’s a polar bear who like needs something to eat like we can see his ribs he’s super skinny why is that happening um but anyway polar pathway I think it’s polar bear oh polar bear fur fur okay that could be fur or he could just be very hungry however Christmas Town 15th

Anniversary next year select dates November 15th through January 5th so we’re here at this year’s Christmas town already planning for next year’s big anniversary celebration and speaking of Christmas Town that does it for us from this year’s Christmas Town event thank you guys for watching all of our videos
