It’s me and if you’re in Garden zones eight and up you should be focusing all of your efforts into planting things that are going to survive summer I look to other countries like Asia Africa South America and the Caribbean to give me ideas on crops that are going to survive these subtropical conditions

That I get here in Florida trust me there’s a lot of things you can grow it might be things that you’re not too familiar with but I promise you they’re very tasty so please no more planting traditional grocery store crops like carrots lettuce kale and cabbage those

Things are not going to grow for us here zones 8 and up during the summer if you need ideas I do monthly growing guides that I post on my website or you can join my email newsletter and have it automatically sent to you on the beginning of every month or you can

Check out my YouTube channel because most likely I have a growing guide like YouTube video dedicated to each and every month that will break down all of the crops and just in general some tips and ideas to be successful growing those crops

  1. Too many bugs in summer to grow traditional crops, at least for me in 10b. I feel like when I plant food crops the bugs are waiting in the sidelines yelling yippee! 😂
