Hi everyone! I have two avocados trees in my current yard. I’ve rented this house and yard for about 10 years now and in the last four years, these two trees finally starting fruiting. The fruit is amazing!! I can’t even begin to really describe it. Well, I’m moving in a month and I will miss these trees dearly. I want to take viable cuttings/specimens with me from both of these trees without doing any damage. I’ve researched all I can about avocado scion and root stalk grafting, but every tutorial uses young trees. These trees are close to 70 years old. Can anyone give me advice? Is this a lost cause?
