  1. Did I missunderstand something here? Are U actually heating the bed in your greenhouse by having an activ compost under the bed??!!!

  2. get a board 2 ft wide 2ft long rest a side on the box load up, lift your end to slide it in , then spread around – viola !

  3. man, that cardboard needs torn up (shredded if poss) it'll break down faster dont forget a little water ..

  4. Thank you so much for your vids. Have you tried coconut coir instead of peat moss? I think it's nicer to work with and doesn't repell water (when dry) like peat does. Also, it's a waste product and completely renewable and ph neutral.

  5. From the very little I know about composting, won't your compost hotbed go anaerobic and stink to high hell if you don't turn it?

  6. I have 2 varieties of onion's and one chive. That grow right threw the Canadian winter's for 18 years now. They grow at the back of my garage ,it's not heated , but they have been in other parts of the garden all winter too .Never fail to come back year after year and produce seed . In fact it is snowing out side right now and they are up and doing fine Onions 12" tall and chives 6". I would try to send you plants but they probably wouldn't make the trip. Unless you have a suggestion ? I would tell you the name but nobody knows anymore ,not my MOM or Aunt. I will ask if anyone has seed from last year . If not maybe this fall I can send you some They would do very well in any one of your gardens . Try looking at some Canadian seed companies they have others like winter chard ,take about 4 heavy frosts to kill them outside on the ground uncovered, in a green house they live all winter. Production come to a hault for the month of january. Anyway love your channel and keep up the good work.

  7. Great video! But, please don't use fresh, pressed or cardboard paper as compost! It contains ink and certain acids that you definitely don't want near your food!

  8. I love the fact that you are sharing your experience, but your presentation of what is actually occurring is severely lacking. This video appears to be several segments spliced into one video with no explanation of what was done, the science behind it, or what your goal was. Just a little constructive criticism. Keep improving. Good luck.

  9. Girl! We are Sisters! You do what you can with what you have and frugally. And produce a lot of food. Hard work pays off in the garden. You are unstoppable girl!
I find the trifecta to work beautifully!

  10. Thanks for sharing this! I use the Jobe's Organic Heirloom Tomato Granular fertilizer (2-5-3) as an affordable alternatve to Trifecta. I get a big bag of it from Home Depot for $10.
