Aloha!

My name is mike, i’m pretty stoked about my garden! I grew up gardening with my parents and am stoked that my Japanese cucumbers have done so well! I built a pretty deep raised garden bed. It’s narrow, barely a foot, maybe 6 feet long and 12″ deep.

First batch of cucumbers was all grown by hand pollination. Hopefully bee’s will do the rest now that I’ve seen one! It was all completely organic with no fertilizers or pesticides! ^_^

  1. lol, funny and informative. i have korean cucumber seeds that i'm going to plant soon. do all cucumbers have flowers and do i have to pollenate them everyday if i don't have bees?

  2. I too am growing Japanese cucumbers. My cucumbers are curly right now at this early stage. Is that the way they normally grow? Jo Ann in California

  3. good for you dude, now the rest of the world needs to come on board and grow their own stuff …
it would be such an awesome thing to happen.

  4. I'm currently growing Dragon Suhyo Cucumbers. Technically a Chinese variety but very similar. They're growing like crazy, out performing the Armenian Cucumbers 20 to 1. I expect the first harvest withing the next couple of days.

  5. Man mine is all curled cuz it’s too hot here in California and I probably didn’t keep the watering consistently
