* How to penny shop at Dollar General: *
Download Dollar General App to scan products.
1. Every Tuesday, the Penny List is released. Join FB groups, youtubers, that are DG. You can find the items on the list and look for them in the stores.
2. Color dots on the items indicate the discount percentage: 50%, 70%, and 90%.
Finding penny items is not guaranteed, but it’s possible.
3. The lower the prices go, the less selection you will find. So if you want it, get it.
4. DO NOT ASK EMPLOYEES FOR PENNY $ ITEMS IN THE STORE. The employee’s job is to pull penny items off the floor. They do go in the trash or storage, which means if you do find them, BUY them ALL and give some away. It’s better than going in the trash.
Write down your items by hand beforehand or watch my videos.
5.. Tips:
Don’t ask employees for penny items.
Do Not Ask for a price check.
After locating a penny item, load up on it.
Be courteous to the staff.
Keep the shelves clean.
Have fun penny shopping!

I found lots of candles, 2 few baskets, lots of pumpkins, decor and a lot of unopened Halloween items! I wanted signs though

Self checkouts need yo go bye bye. Glad to see that happening. Will cut down on theft, due to people having a gazillion accounts.
I also see all that yellow dot and blue dot accessories going bye bye. Too much junk just getting thrown in the garbage. Loss loss.
I found purple dot baskets this week
I only got 2 fall items at 90%
Fall is everywhere
Most of my stores don't recover
I will be waiting till fall pennies
Got some lawn and garden and green dot this week. Also found some of the small green dot wax melts in the candle section on the bottom.shelf
I am glad they will be closed on Christmas
Hopefully they will pay the employees for Christmas day

The way my back has been I hadn't been able to shop anywhere
My body is so stiff I can't even hardly walk I do good just to get to the bathroom and through the house 😢
Your store was loaded …most stores here pulled and sent back before 90 percent off…found a few nice items…only found 3 mini loaf pans…went to 5 stores…was going to make mini loafs for single seniors that live around me and gift the loaf dish….but didn’t find enough to do that …they may get mini loafs but will have to add something else 😊. Ty for all the info
The DG app has been working better. Before it wouldn't work beyond the front door, and I would have to take things to the front of the store to scan.
