  1. Your idea of layering and plant selection looks very pleasing to the eyes. Another layer that finally completes the the entire landscape is that beautiful blue/gray stones as it frames the fantastic scene ❤. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Great information. I enjoy watching your videos and they have been very helpful as I tweak an older landscape.
Can you please add botanical names of plants in your videos. I was looking for "blue my mind" at a nursery in Melbourne area and they had no idea what I was talking about. An internet serch led to Evolvulus, dwarf morning glory. Is this correct?

  3. Once again, thanks for an informative video.
I would love to hear your thoughts on deciding what to screen and what to expose or ‘filter’.
I’m planning the shallow backyard of a canal home and planning my view from the house and thinking about how to provide privacy from across the canal neighbors without totally blocking my view of the water.
Would love to hear how you would approach this.
Keep the videos rolling! I love your work ❤!

  4. Thank you all so much for the kind words just love this gardening community we have here on youtube. If there are any questions you’d like answered in a future video then please list them below and I’ll get on it. Good luck in your gardens everyone!

  5. That European Fan Palm…amazing! Love that! Always love watching your videos! I learn so much from them for my west coast of Florida yard. Thanks for the breakdown – very helpful.

  6. Loved this! Layering is definitely key. I added Sanchezia and Copperleaf in our Ghana garden after seeing them in a few of your videos😊🌿

  7. I love these palms. I got some royal palms and king palms with some golden pathos growing around their trunks. A couple bottle palms, and pygmy dates scattered around them. Then I got some giant elephant ears and 3 HUGE red banana trees in place. The red banana trees started around 3 feet tall and now they are about 15 feet tall. They are going on 4 years. They look WILD. I got all my inspiration from a trip I took to Bali, Indonesia.

  8. You are so refreshing and I follow you all the way from Edgewater, FL.

Edgewater, FLORIDA is now zone 10a. What are some of the trees, shrubs and ground cover we can plant that we couldn't plant before? Thank you!

  9. Any recommendation for a free or inexpensive program that would enable me to plot out my plan for a better visualization? I know what I like but having a hard time visualizing how my ideas would look once put together.

  10. Great video as usual. I love your work. I have seen your video on your side yard for privacy but I would love to see a good example of a narrow side yard foundation planting. Keep the videos coming and I wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.

  11. Thank you for your simple but inspiring formula to beautiful planting! I do love your style! I would love to see examples of your landscaping around pools. Especially 360* around the pool that is in the open, no cage. 🙂

  12. This is great. The best tip I got from this was the wave effect with the blue my minds. I would love to see a video where you are applying this method around a pool cage. Where there is a double sided view.
