Okay it is time, it’s another season, and with that comes another anti-haul! It’s winter this time, the holidays are coming up with all those parties and cosy walks around town and all of a sudden we get into shopping spree mode, don’t we. Before we do, in the name of anti-consumerism and just like smart financial behaviour, let’s do a little anti-haul, let’s look at what we already have in our wardrobes to see if we can style what we already own in new and thrilling ways, and let’s look at the trends this season that we should maybe stay away from.
I talk about:
– why you shouldn’t buy metallic clothing
– christmas clothes
– the problem with maxi dresses
– gothic floral fashion
– the clutch bag
– granny clothes
– what you should buy this christmas
– what you shouldn’t buy this christmas
– winter fashion
– christmas fashion
– what to wear this new years

"that silver lady" almost made me spit out my coffee, so true!
Layering video!!!!
'unhinged' is a very fun way to describe your style 😁 I actually love the red trend, but it doesn't suit my complexion, sadly. Otherwise i find it to be a very nice basic color to work as an eye catcher in any outfit
Thanks for the video! Yes!More layering videos please!!!
kisluxbag has the exact same sacks as these, even pennyer.
I love your anti haul videos. Even though some of them include things I would definitely buy, you substantiate your point very well
Your personal style is sooo unique and beautiful😍😍😍😍
I have beautiful red pure Italian wool coat that I got from H&M (would you believe?!) years ago. It’s an oversized boyfriend cut so it’s remained in my closet throughout many(!) weight fluctuations. I don’t care if it’s on trend or not…I wear it every winter regardless ❤
Would love a layering video
Yessss, madwoman Jenny is back !! I absolutely can’t wait to see more unhinged stylings from you again !
I love Red and my maxi dresses, so I just wear what I already have
Jenny, can you please tell us where the white maxi dress is from? I’ve been in love with it ever since I saw it on your channel and I couldn’t find anything similar 😭 it’s the perfect cut for me, I can’t stop thinking about it.
The only expensive silk slip dress I own I bought specifically in a blood red. It's one of those colours that always makes an impression because almost everybody is scared of wearing it, so that's why I chose it lol. Also red in a great material is one way of making a very simple minimal garment like a slip midi dress look special.
I have never commented on one of your videos but I absolutely LOVE your look in this video. You look gorgeous!! Great video too
Love red but love Even more the green blouse you're wearing. Gorgeous on you. Where did you get it.
Great video! I don’t have even one red item so I’ll be skipping that trend. Red is just NOT my color.
I wish I could do the multi layered look but I get hot so easily haha!
I love the dark florals, so if I buy anything new this season I think I would go for that.
Very beautiful sack and. Thnx for helping to make this beautiful video for us kisluxbag
You look stunning in the yellow trench!❤
Im the same as you with maxis – love them but have to remind myself they don't work for my shape. Im short so maxis swallow me in fabric and I just feel overwhelmed.
That red is amazing on winter people (season colour analysis).. wouldnt do a long dress or full outfit but top, lipstick (ruby woo from mac) or accessories..
Red is my power color. I sometimes dress up as a human red flag, really.
L a y e r i n g TIPS pleeeeeeaseeee
Älskar dessa videos! ❤
I have a red jumpsuit in this tone of red and I LOVE it! I wore it to a lot of events and weddings and always get compliments. I also have a Christmas red clutch and a jumper – all bought second hand and years ago (and I really like to wear it in summer, too). I think they will be in my wardrobe for a long time…
I love burgundy and wine red but I already know “Christmas red” would make me look like a sickly Victorian woman dying of consumption. So it’s a no for me. I’m also not big on the monochrome red, I like mixing my reds with beige, grey, cream and brown.
Red is hard to mix …. But I have a few red things that I like
I like both the red and the silver, but personally I'm not buying any because I already have those pieces in my wardrobe. I have a bright red winter coat (bought around 2018), plus a bright red wool cardigan. Personally I love the energy and brightness of red mid-winter, but then it's one of my favourite colours anyway. Silver was one of the trends last winter too, so I have some silver knee high boots and a thrifted silver-grey angora dress from last year. I think the silver boots are pretty easy to pair with other pieces and they bring a bit of glam to a minimal outfit.
Love today's content! Thanks😊❤
i love the bum bag! it is so cute; what a great idea! and i love that green floral dress. oh to die for. and i love all the layering and also the granny style. And i love seeing all your outfits – very put-together with a lot of personality, without ever being overdone. As for these trends … not so much for me – no metalics, reds, or impractical clutches for me 🙂 But they are gorgeous on others. Great video!
Head to toe red? Yikes. Terrifying lol. However, I am wanting to get a few red hits somewhere in my winter wardrobe. But it has to be the right shade so if I can’t find the right shade, it’ll have to wait. I want socks and a hat, maybe some mitts. That’s about it. I love red but for me, less is definitely more. Layering … yes. Please do a video 😊. I have been scrounging Pinterest for inspo and have been playing around with some of my tried and true outfits to see how much I can add to them. The rest, nope. Not for me, either.
I’ve been wearing obscene amounts of Christmas red for a few years now just cause it’s my favourite colour. Weirdly, since this has just been my style I don’t feel like I’m participating in the trend at all (even tho my outfits totally look like it). I’ve seen so many videos talking about this red trend for months and yet this is the first time I’ve realized I fall into it
I’d love to see your layering tips
Really love the red trend! Not as a head to toe outfit but in details such as a layered red turtleneck underneath something or a pair of red tights. Was about to purchase some items but this video made me aware that this is indeed a trend thing and I am gonna think about it a bit longer. Let’s see if I’ll still be into it in a couple of months. Thanks Jenny!
In winter I usually care more about if I can wear a piece actually with any coats or jackets I own. And that is not a lot of pieces 😂 Maxi dresses, no (snow?!), even skirts with tights often look just off because it's not matching the length of the coat and finally the shoes…with snow and everything. So most of the time it will be jeans or other trousers with very warm tights underneath and a warm and nice sweater
As a so called “red girl”, I don’t like that trend at all. I’ve always leaned towards a darker red—either like a blood red, burgundy (with purple undertones), or maroon (with more brown tones). I don’t understand this orangey tomato red. I can understand that people like a classic red (which I normally don’t wear), but this tomato red? No.
Can you do a video on turning a clutch into a bum bag? Thx 🙏🏽
I love bright Christmas/fire truck reds so much. I owned two tops that are easy to style with my neutral clothes. I don't think I will be buying them again this year because they fade or darken after a few washes. I still enjoy the color they fade to and wear these shades throughout the year.
Red pants are my everyday basic, so it’s a great time to stock up on a couple of pairs.
I love a pop of red, it’s a timeless color❤
Layering tips would be fantastic!❤
I have very fair skin and dark hair and this type of red suits my skin tone a lot so yeah I’d be down to try an outfit in this color !
I feel uninspired. I only have one style, which is 2016 soft grunge, that I know how to style well. But I am not a teenager anymore, so for a long time it was about figuring out how to adjust it to my ageing and now I just burned out. I wear the same three things on rotation and I don’t even feel exited about new trends, because all of them look kinda flimsy. The bows are gonna untie, the lowrise jeans are gonna fall off and so on. I need structurally not anxiety inducing trends. Trends that will keep my failing organs warm lol. And retain a bit of that 2016 edge.
Not wanting to buy any of that… but am interested in what your eyeshadow is? I’ve been admiring it for many videos now – I’m certain you’ve probably shared it so if someone could point me in the right direction I’d be quite grateful, thank you!
