Great video 👍👍
Another great video Pete of a day in the life of a gardener👍
Hope your week was not to disrupted due to the weather.
There is always something to do when running a gardening business and having a young family totally feel what you are saying👏 Have a nice weekend to you & family mate🤝
Interesting thank you – I’m hoping to start a simple maintenance business 🤞 I wonder about how your quote, invoice and payment process works thanks again
another honest vid, cheers. The maintenance idea is a good one, I try to do what I can but always worry I could be doing more or that I'm doing something wrong, strimmer cord is a real bane of my life right now, just today I had to stop 3 times just because the cord wasn't feeding out properly, so any advice there would really hit the spot. Enjoy your weekend fella.
You go out daily in all weathers to earn a living, the least I can do is make you lunch❤
Keep up the good work dude
make your lunch the night before put in the fridge save time in the morning ready to go
Great content, hope you're gonna sale through this season with out to many breakdowns and decent customers.
I don't think some people realise the effort we put into our videos, from a simple vlog to a full on instruction video, Just getting the camera out and trying to figure out where to place it to get good shots, takes time, and its time added to our job and busy schedule. I think myself lucky I don't have kids to look after, Time is so precious and becomes more precious as we get older.
There are a lot of great channels out there helpful, when I started about 8 years ago I only remember geek to freak and UK lawn care, there are a lot of smaller channels that struggle to get on the youtube ladder and quit, which is a shame,
Hi mate really enjoying the channel, I’m just starting out on my own whilst working full time as a greenkeeper, did you have a full time job when you first started and how did you manage to juggle both if you did? Currently doing 6am- 7pm days and working weekends and struggling to keep on top of everything 🤦🏽♂️
Great content, im in full time work at the moment and in the process of saving up for tools and a van for next yrs season… gardening and lawn maintenance is one of my passions and really wont to make the jump next yr,just always a worry about work not coming in and bills going out😫 did you own all your tools and van out right before you started up?
Would you mind listing all the tools you used to start up at first,as im buy bit every month and didnt want to waste money on tools ill hardly use and also buy tools that aren't so good. Ive started off with buying a sthil combi and strimmer attachment. Thinking of getting the shil 6 series mower next
Im in the same boat mate, but wouldnt have it any other way love the job👌🌿
Good job mate👍
Keep up the good work.
You had a similar idea for a video as me this week😄
Enjoy the weekend
You sir are an inspiration to me and my work, and pushing it to the next level…. keep it up because Ive also got more to give! 😊
Definitely dont have time to be cleaning the tools at the end of the day, ill probably give everything a good clean at the end of this wet season if i get time 🤷🏾♂️
Mate you should definitely look into using a software for all your invoices to do them automatically, i couldnt imagine doing them all manually again now 😰
Hi Pete! Another great video from you! I commented on one of your videos a few weeks ago asking for advice. I've now got an interview coming up for a Level 2 Apprenticeship as a Gardener with a local council. Is this a good opportunity to get the skills needed?
I've got experience doing garden maintenance at home, lawn cutting, wedding, potting plants etc. Not sure what they will ask me at the interview. Any advice or tips for the interview or the apprenticeship in general?
For me it was either the apprenticeship or studying a level 2 whilst working 4 days a week and trying to find some work for a gardening firm. I think the apprenticeship would be a good opportunity but any advice welcome. Thanks and all the best 👍🏻
who's the guy that was jelping you in this video
This was a great day in the life video mate, nice work.
And great tattoos too man.
Great work buddy.
Do you ever get customers who are never happy and always expect way too much work from you?
