Don’t forget to protect your ceramic pots if you live in a colder climate! Some of the really thick ones will probably be fine but I don’t like to take the chance because those things are expensive. You have to wait until it’s cold enough so the dirt doesn’t spill@out everywhere but not so old that it will crack. My pot creation skills are ok but not great. It’s one of the things I’m working on. In this one are things found in the garden around now: hydrangea, dried seed pods and evergreen sprigs and some lichen and beautyberry from someone else. Get creative! Has anyone else ever cracked a pot or two?😬

If you’re new here, I’m a garden coach and consultant based in the Boston area (zone 6b). I don’t have time to answer all the questions that come in so please help others if you have information to share! Go to my website to learn more about what I do or to schedule consultations and more: https://www.youcandoitgardening.com

Location: videos are done by clients at their homes and this was done by Kirsten.
