Hello Ivan. A neighbor left me their plants when they moved including a strawberry pot with two flowering strawberry plants in it.
Hi Ivan
That's a good win with the carrots.
As for the strawberries… I never did care for strawberries.
The Devil's fruit, in my opinion.
And who the hell wants strawberries in winter anyway?
There'll be nothing good come of it, that I can tell ya!!!
๐คฌ๐คฌ๐คฌ๐คฌ๐คฌ Strawberries!!!
Ta Ivan, many thanks
Im impressed with those carrots, i never thought they'd grow that big! They'll be lovely in a stew.
What type of( feed ) adid you use a couple of weeks ago?
I had trouble with my carrots that I planted alongside you, they took ages to body up. But I got some lovely baby carrots from them. It was my first time growing them.
Nice hervest.
Quedaron muy bien
Lovely to see those carrots and it's nice to see that an expert can have a mishap and show you can revive and get such wonderful results.
And my broad beans were worrying me now I'm happy. Xx
Great carrots. If all those carrots are holding water in their cells, that would explain the weight without the soil dampness. Bodes well for the rest of the trough! Also, in dodgy weather, I usually pre-germinate broad beans. Just pop a few in a plastic bag with some damp soil/compost, keep in a warmish place, then plant up the ones that show they are sprouting. Cuts down on the "will-they-won't-they" worries. Cheers.

good job on the Carrots, it froze here last night my Carrots our outside uncovered there about like yours , i want to see if they will make it thought winter outside , we will see
A good yield of carrots from that container Iโm definitely going to try that next year ๐๐
Nice carotts again Ivan, when you say protect things with fleece etc, do I just wrap it around my cabbage & cauliflower, & carotts, thanks..
I wouldn't have thought you could grow such good carrots in a container in a greenhouse. I would forget to water them! We're lucky we have sandy soil on our allotment so ideal for carrots. Not ideal for much else! Great video as always! Jo x
Thanks Ivan, I wasn't sure what the problem was with your carrots in the trough but I had thought that it was lack of water (in the back of my mind), so it's a good reminder to use the Wilko's meter as I've got one also. They're belting looking carrots and as they say "every day is a school day", well done mate I'd have done the same. Have a great weekend. Take care and all the best. Stevie
wow at least you know its heavy because the carrots have grown , brillaint sizes!!
Brilliant carrot ๐ฅ haven't Iven well done. Thanks Tim ๐
Fabulous carrots Ivan, it just goes to show how good container growing can be even when things are sown late. Thank you for your update Ivan. Paul
