First time growing jalapeños and I’ve been reading that they are ready to pick when they are a deep green color but they seem a little small. Maybe the ones on the grocery store aren’t natural?

    They’ll get bigger and eventually turn red which is when they’re the best. But you can pretty much pick them whenever you want

    Gotcha. I was reading and that’s what I figured out. Every article preferred different colors. I read something about white stretch marks on the peppers and they said that’s the right time to pick them. Thinking I might go with that
