  1. Even though I left England some 8 yrs ago I still love to see Kirstie and Phil, so thanks for sharing..

  2. Always Location, Location, Location with Kirstie and Phil. Doesn't matter how old – it's Kirstie and Phil that make the show. Other country's versions… meh. It's Kirstie and Phil we love!

  3. I live outside the UK now, but I still enjoy this show so much. Phil and Kirstie are great.

  4. I am shocked, I thought if an offer is accepted that is it, no one else can offer. Cut-throat real estate in UK. I am in Canada.

  5. I lived in those E. and N. London locations as did my ancestors before leaving the UK for Canada. The transformations are unbelievable. No wonder there’s a huge price hike, unlike in the old working class days.

  6. Accepting an offer should not be reneged on unless you are in a chain and something goes wrong with a purchase of a new property. This should be illegal. Follow through or don't accept.

  7. Not to be mean but I like when it sometimes doesn't work out as it shows the negatives and pluses of house hunting. I think it is important people who may interested in purchasing a home see both sides.

  8. Would love to know exactly when a property goes unconditional? I find it an unacceptable practise for a vendor to agree a price with a purchaser and than back out and accepts another offer.

  9. I find it so strange that Kirstie was pushy about children with someone who’s single. She’s never said anything to any other single person who have appeared on the show. I think it’s uncalled for. It’s one thing to plan for the future when you have a partner. How the heck can you plan for the future when you don’t even have a boyfriend!?

  10. I love watching this amazing couple. I hope their show will continue for quite some time.Mary. Auckland New Zealand

  11. The buyers all made offers below asking price so I don't think its surprising the offended sellers chose not to go ahead with the property sales

  12. Was anyone else creeped out that Phil was flirting while clearly wearing a wedding ring?

  13. Great programme felt sorry for them both. As I always say it is always great to see young people working hard and trying to succeed against all odds nice people and I hope they find the homes they so deserve.
Also very sad news about Phills parents in August I hope he is coming to terms with such a tragic event in his life.
I wish him the very best of luck I succeeding in doing that.
They really are both brilliant presenters who make the show so entertaining to watch.

  14. To save money, Sam and Mike decided to share a one bedroom flat,… and one Queen size bed. However, that is when Dr. Michael's expectations, and criticisms, really hit high gear. Ever eager to keep the peace, Sam literally bent over backwards to calm the increasingly picky Doctor. This was not the Uni experience that Sam remembered. To ease household tensions they decided to adopt a cat. Haunted by Kristie's clever imagery of a cat in the apartment, they got a bird instead.

  15. Hbyabha ha ha she wants to do yoga out on her balcony in the fresh air….. in London a city of 13 million. Where every livable box is fought over tooth and nail! Yup the beautiful parks aren't good enough for Nish. Anyway all of those properties we saw have seen an increase in price to well over a million pounds yup..

  16. Disaster in waiting for those boys. Never ever buy unless married to each other. So many potential issues, especially having in mind the differences they have already.

  17. It's time to change house buying laws in England. Accepted offers should be signed by both parties as a binding contract. This present system just encourages this vertiginous rise in prices

  18. Thanks for posting! It's always nice to follow Phil & Kirsty's adventures with their clients. Sorry for these young people after seeing their offers accepted in the first place. I also like to discover different areas in London; and to know that today prices have skyrocketed!!

  19. The UK is quite odd. Here in the USA, once a seller accepts an offer and both parties sign, it's a done deal unless inspection or financing falls through. It's not fair business practice to agree to something and then turn around behind someones back, and basically lie to them, saying they accept an agreed purchase, and then not fulfill a cotract. In the USA you could be sued doing that here.I don't get it ,and glad I don't live in the UK!

  20. Thirty one years ago I bought the 'dead cat' house. Still here and glad I found it!
That attic – with a view from the bath (ha) – was crazy expensive for it's size.
If you purchase with another person, do you have to have a contract together?
The property market is so difficult for young buyers. Even with a healthy budget, a good down payment and lots of good advice, things still don't always work out. I hope they found something in the end.
