I felt inspired when I joined this sub back in March and put together a couple of mossariums from jars I found at the dollar store. I kept them outside, and for the first few months, I would spray out the cobweb mold with peroxide every couple of weeks. From August through end of October they were neglected and moved to a spot that gets that gets a bit more sun.
Last week I cleaned the jars up, sprayed with water, and put them on a shelf by a window in my room. I’m happy to say we are mold free, and although some of the dudes got fried while outside, we also have life! I’ll eventually deconstruct and put together a nicer jar, but for now I’m content.
