Can you talk about the cost of feed, straw, etc compared to ordering chicks from McMurray and what your end goal is for making money with the chickens? Will alll of this work and cost be worth the amount of money you will make (not including content creator income.) Thanks!
Nate and his perfectly straight lines lol. Nate it is a farm!
Taking that tree down is going 2 make a hugh difference. Will look so much nicer. Big job I no but ur gonna love the change. B safe. God bless always
Give the chainsaw to Katie
I would suggest gloves when taking down the trees and bushes/brush!! Things are looking great.
Itβs always fun when one project (measuring a space) leads to another (clearing space). ππππππ
You both might consider high quality leather work gloves.
Nate no offence quit depending your wife a lot. You got this, if I can at 76 you can
You both did alot of work on the trees n brush today awesome job will have it done in no time a little at a time gets the job done

Its going to look really good when its all done. π
Love the new hair cut Nate
Thanks for mowing Katie, it looks so good
Amazon sells full hazard suits for people like me who gets poison ivy by looking at it
One job leads to another. It never ends.
Was it Freddy that killed with a chainsaw or someone else?
You two make me laugh π
Keep going you have made so much progress β€π

I've got an idea… burn everything down except the chicken coops and there you have it.. Home Sweet Home!!
So how many roosters do you still have?

A good tip for chainsaw maintenance is to rotate your chain bar upside-down for a time to minimize wear on one side. Believe it or not the downward pressure will eventually wear the bar down.
Starting a trend! π―
You all have motivated me to start my own list.
I call it Mission Winterize. π 12 days left on my goal. Go Team! π€£π€£
You could use the cedar for your perches and it may help keep bugs away I believe
Kicking butt you two
Please consider buying an battery powered pole saw …… usually an 8 or 10 each chain (that does the cutting)… on a pole that extends about 8 to 10 feet. Very safe. You reach in and cut. It's better than a hedge cutter for trees.
Thanks for inspiring me to get back to it, you guys are doing and awesome job and love watching your journey. From Oz
Hey Nate and Katie, how is the couple where you all stayed on their farm for a while? Mr. Wayne was his name if I am correct. Have not heard you all talk about them in a long while. You all are doing a great job with the homestead, everything is looking really great. Are you all going to get the house finished any time soon?
Nate put that very good chainsaw you have to work,
Eat an elephant one bite at a time.
If you make contact with poison ivy, wash your hands (or any contaminated skin) and clothes in a de-greaser. You have to get rid of the oily sap from the poison ivy.
