Title: Beach House – Landscape Design
Location: Carlsbad, California
This complete makeover consisted of restoring the pool,🏊 lowering the paver patio under the pergola, adding Stone bases to the columns and pouring new concrete to unify the various elements. 💦💙
We built raised vegetable beds and built a walk and stairway to a sitting area on the hill behind the pool. 🍆🍅🥒🥔🥕🫑
From this sitting area, paths lead across the hillside to access many new fruit trees. We reused many existing materials and upgraded many others such as removing brick caps on the walls and replacing them with clean stucco for a more contemporary look. 🪷
For outdoor entertaining we built a new BBQ island.🍗 The owners selected the black sink and copper faucet for a clean look against the white ledgestone on the base. The same stone was used on the wall and pergola columns which helps integrate the landscape.☘️🌸🌿
