In this week’s vlog, I’m going over some of the happenings in the garden. It was a busy week, and unfortunately I didn’t capture EVERYTHING on film! I’ll do better next week 🙂
The raised bed garden experiments are going well and I’m pulling quite a few peas, beans, and tomatoes off in early Spring – a big success. I also harvested loquats from my tree, which is one of my favorite high yield crops…provided you’re patient enough to wait for the tree to grow 😉
The front yard garden was the focus this week, trying to get all of the beds amended, prepped, and set up for explosive spring growth. But there’s also a lot of new experiments going on:
– Container leeks and onions
– Growing in a straw bale
– Vertical hydroponics system grow-along
