In August 2017 I had an interview with Monty Don, gardener from Britain with the fabulous show Gardener’s World on BBC. He visited Sweden for the first time in 2017 and I got an interview. We talked about winter sowings and winter gardening.

  1. You have conducted such an insightful interview, Monty Don is truly amazing. I would also like to congratulate you for your English speaking ability. I got really impressed at hearing you! Congratulations and thank you for sharing this great content. A warm hug from Brazil ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท

  2. Thanks for the video, you should add in English subtitles on your swedish videos if that not too much trouble or effort and message in the descriptions of each that there are English subtitles for English viewers and that way we can all enjoy your previous videos. thanks!

  3. Here in Quรฉbec I have a winter garden in homemade greenhouse and its work so well with a covercrop and heater cable in the soil

  4. Absolutely agree – the mark of a great gardener is how much they produce in winter not summer (when the going is easiest). Great video ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I agree the main challenge is to grow enough. The important thing is to sow enough during the critical stage in August, September and early October as you canโ€™ really sow more later on if you realise thereโ€™s not enough.

  6. Oh Sara, this was a total delight – yay for winter growing. I would be so sad without my garden in the winter…..and hungry! I'm always amazed by and inspired by your winter harvests. Happy growing lovely. ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Love to watch your videos. You are rare..only a few attempt to garden in the winter it should be taught more in the USA. I have watched some of Monty Don. I bought couple of greenhouses from your videos to try to grow lettuce and such in winter. I have to put the greenhouse together. Just fascinating!
