  1. I have found that planting many types of Allium as a "companion" plant, helps deter the deer…particularly if they are a fragrant type…😊

  2. @theimpatientgardener how are you? Really enjoy your videos. Wh😊ere can i purchase the self watering pots used in this video.

  3. Love alliums thanks for taking us with your bulb planting using the auger tool. ❤ …and the peek at conditions 48 hours later 😮

  4. Thank you thank you for drill tips. I got a new drill for Christmas last year just for this moment of bulb planting and a power planter auger. I am looking at how many bulbs I ordered with a little dread so hope this speeds up the process.

  5. Hoping that you'll also talk about your mountain mint…Mine are really flopping and I'm wondering if I should just leave them alone or cut them back. Yikes? Totally in love with them, thanks for introducing me to them!!!

  6. We’ve had a little snow come down on the first of November here in Massachusetts , it was gone 2 hours later . I got Allium bulbs from Costco called Shubertii , never grew them before, hoping they’ll be beautiful like your Christofii , So much to do this time of year , have fun .

  7. Another great entertaining and education video! I know you've told us before, but I always appreciate the reminders, such as using a towel to store your Colocasia; thank you for great auger tips. I still haven't planted my bulbs, but weather is holding off…except for the Halloween snow 🙂 Love the Ambassador Allium. This was first year and I was really impressed! Beautiful peak of Lake Michigan!

  8. You are so informative especially about augers , also so funny and down to earth with the leaf hanging out in your hair! I always love forward to your video, ps missing the wine and weed episodes.
