In today’s Vlog, we get my cottage garden Fall ready and prune the giant lime light hydrangeas. With so many blooms, we set out boxes for free bouquets in the neighborhood! I then show my parents how to make easy personal sized pizzas and have some good laughs together.

Such a fun video!! I love your garden. I have lost a lot of my plants this year. We have been plagued by the invasive spotted lantern flies.
My favorite season is Spring. And thank you for setting flower bunches out for the neighborhood. My brother very unexpectedly passed away this past February. He would send me flowers for my birthday which is June 26th. While walking my dogs on my birthday this year a neighbor had set out a display of flower bouquets from her garden with a sign to help yourself to her abundance. There was just one beautiful bouquet left. I took it knowing that God had employed this lovely lady to keep a sweet connection to my beloved brother. Every act of kindness counts.❤

Hi, my name is Hanna and I love hydrangea , I moved to Mo.a couple of yrs. ago and this last spring I finally planted some, I have one of then that started getting yellow leaves and when I googled it they said to give it iron which I did but it hasn't helped much. You said you fertilized them once a yr. what do you fertilize with? I would really appreciate some advice, we get a lot of rain in the spring but this yr. summer has been very hot and dry, we also get quite a bit of humidity thru out the yr.. I love your videos.

Selena, I came across your videos just a couple of weeks ago and I've been binge watching ever since. I love the interaction between you and your mom. Like you I was raised in a family that went to garage sales on the weekends and my mom and aunt even had a booth sometimes at a local flea market. Then as I got in my teens my dad started buying lots (it would usually be all kinds of merchandise that the store was trying to get rid of to bring in new items) from our local Western Auto Store (this was a general merchandise store). You would turn in a sealed bid after you looked over the merchandise for that day and whoever was the highest bidder – won the lot. Dad would bring these back to the building that we rented and fix things up to sell at our Friday night auctions that were held to bring in extra money for the family. This kept all of us busy in the family. My mom would go to garage sales on the weekends and find old furniture that she could "antique" and resell at the auction or other items. We sometimes would get toys in the lots and Dad would put those up in the attic of the place where the auctions were held and then once a year in November, we would have a big toy auction. This made a lot of families have a very good Christmas for their kids. My husband ask me why I watch people fixing up things or buying stuff to resell and I told him because it brings back happy memories of our family working and pulling together to have a better life. We definitely never had our heads buried in a computer or a game like most kids today have. Unfortunately, both my mom and dad are gone now but I still have some great memories of time spent together. Enjoy your time together, it is so precious!!
Wow! Who doesn't love this lady? With all she's been through, she is still the most optimistic life-loving person and also so energetic and sharing. I love Senena's content, love her decorating style and keen eye, but mostly just in love with her as a person. What a fabulous outlook on life!
