…and here’s a much happier FLF where I get my daily dose of caffeine @milanoespressobar (which means I’ve seen this FLF everyday over a long time). Notice the light: our eyes adjust selectively to different levels of brightness but the camera does not. When I expose for the details inside the room, the light coming through the window is completely washed out because it is much brighter – and it’s a cloudy day! This is why letting your plants “see the sky” is so important – it’s not always about seeing the sun (though for the FLF, some sun is good); the daytime sky provides useful light to most tropical foliage plants.
