This is one way I fertilize the hole for my larger greens like chard, cabbages, kale, mustard greens and Brussels sprouts. This method is for fertilizer with a 10-10-10 or lower ratio. Always error on the side of less fertilizer. You can always add more later but you can’t take it away. And never sit your plants on a pile of fertilizer. Mix it in well!
