On my Daughter’s property no less! According to local legend, a plot of trees was burned down to clear an undetermined piece of land.
Afterward, the soil was proven to be absolutely perfect for vegetable harvesting.
The locals, at the time, grew their vegetables there and, according to legend, “you could almost see everything growing.”
The clues in our small local history book were sparse, but we believe we have located the legendary plot on my Daughter’s land on Manitoulin Island.
And we found more surprises than just astonishingly tall plants (surprises that irrefutably CONFIRM we found the mystery garden.)
Let me show you a hidden super garden, a local legend discovered!
This clip is from my full-length show, Practical Living, a show about rural lifestyle and actionable how-to tips.

Lovely little hidden gem, Steve! These days we had the advantage of solar panels and such, so I can think you could make it easier to water the garden from that well!

This is exciting. Can't wait to see the progress. Thanks for sharing and I wish you all an amazing time developing the land.☺
