Doug and Stacy grow and harvest a lot of their own food. Making sure the Japanese Beetles do not wipe out our apple trees and black berry bushes we have an organic pest control solution, Milky Spore, now this will be the first time we have used it so lets see how it goes…. we have no affiliation with St Gabriel Organics we purchased it

About OFF GRID with DOUG and STACY:
We moved to our 11 acres in 2011 from a large city in the Midwest with zero carpentry and farming skills. We live with no solar / wind power / public water or well. We share our adventure to a sustainable life, growing our own food from vegetables to meat. We post videos DAILY and they range from HOW TO to EVERYDAY LIFE and NUTRITION on the off grid homestead. We were city folks just like you probably and wanted to enjoy life and have more control over our food. We share food recipes as well as natural remedies.

Hope this helps yall with your fight with this beetle, they can sure wipe out the garden and fruit trees in a day or so 🤠👍
THANKS FOR WATCHING!
I’ll definitely will try this thanks for sharing!
I see animals around. Is this safe for dogs?
That is great! I saved a nice sturdy tube, plus a lid like that to maybe caulk on end of tube so get the right amount out. I recently saw grubs in my dirt. I'm guessing might help with brown beetles also. Thanks 😊
We started doing this at work within the last year or so. I do landscape maintenance at someone’s private property & we’ve had a lot of Japanese beetle problems.
Where do you buy this stuff from? And did it work for you guys?
Hope it's safe for chickens.
This sure would help cut down on me running around my yard with a mason jar with a lid and water collecting them 😤🤣
Ty for the video
Oh how cute the cat at tge end hast a grey heart on its side💜
what about stink bugs??
I need to try this. How did it work for you or others???
I stated putting down this stuff in early spring and when the Japanese beetles hit they swarmed all of my trees and 10x worst than last year. When I first noticed them in a swarm I thought they were bees until I inspected my fruit trees.
Also try Beetle Gone by Phyllom BioProducts. It's a bacteria. Works like a miracle!!! For organic gardening. Expensive but works shockingly well.
Directions are terrible so here you go. Mix 2 ounces of powder with 1 gallon of water. Then mix in a concentrate of fish fertilizer to make it sticky and withstand a rain or two. Only use a pump sprayer as other sprayers may kill the bacteria.
I applied this product early spring right before the grass starts turning green. Honestly, it didn’t help me much. Maybe i should have applied more and ask my neighbours do the same 😂. Still struggling with these nasty creatures. Please do share your experience, may ne i am doing something wrong… Thank you!
Will it harm the worms?
🖐
We are in CT and these things are eating all my roses
Three yeats later… how did this work? These betteles are eating the raised bed gardens like crazy…
Stacy & Doug
Hi Stacey. I'm in Italy and we have a humungous problem the last couple years with a recent infestation of Japanese beetles- like the plague!! I love your video and help; I went on Amazon Italy and found ONE box of Milky Spore Powder for Euro 255.90!!! Seems everyone wants to go green & help the farmer & small gardener with all these horrible infestations that our ravaging all of our crops and gardens. Hard to get any good (and natural) product that would work- but, hey we have had a HUGE influx of ONLY cheap Chinese stores growing everywhere, as well as Burger King, McDonalds, & casinos for the first time in years!
Did you find anything else I could possibly try?
Blessings to you both! 💜Paj
Im.doin it
Thanks Stacy!
“The war room” 😂😂😂😂😂❣️
Does it kill the grubs of native beetles?
I didn’t know what they were until I came across a video this week… I thought they were just bugs and good for the environment 😅 thankfully I discovered their true colors in my first year of gardening and I can start decimating these now instead of down the line ❤ I’m also getting the Rescue beetle bags from Amazon.
I definitely want to track them all they're not in this area and they're not from this country hence the name Japanese beetle I want to attract them all and kill them all instead of going through these changes I just not make a homemade trap like the guy in the other YouTube video let them, I'll make enough traps for them I'm not going to get all of them in the world
I absolutely hate these bugs, ugghh. Everywhere in my house
I have a major infestation of Mexican bean leaf beetles destroying my entire bean crop… Do you think this could work for them? The grubs go in the soil as well…
I hate it when a subject matter becomes a reason to blabber. Just get to the point!
