Every video post is superb to watch. I love watching garden videos where the owner does the work & in stages as you are, it doesn’t interest me when people post a video of their garden that paid labour has done the work as I feel I don’t learn anything that way. Enjoy all that you have achieved 💚👨🌾💚
This old lady loves power tools too! I encouraged my hubs to buy a bit bigger Kabota with the backhoe attachment off Market Place (he is a retired heavy equipment operator for the NCDOT) for the ability to dig holes for planting, moving dirt, making beds, and occupying him outside in his retirement.😊😊 Making life easier and saving our bodies from injury is very important.
Oh my! You’ve been working your butt off! I noticed you even got the pool closed. It all looks good!
I’m so excited for you….don’t you love having acreage (well maybe not when you’re bone tired😉). I really love the Fire Chief Arbs & the color is gorgeous all year, also the Morning Light grass is stunning. I planted 5 around our patio and the blumes are so lovely bouncing in the wind.
Ps I saw the Morning Light grass on Grow for me 5 and couldn’t believe how large theirs was. Goals🙌🏻
I have 6 RSlippers Oak leafs I planted along back side of foundation and can’t wait until they kiss the window sill outside our bedrooms.
I love it, you’ve done so much work that it looks like a different house from your first video there!!!
The large front garden bed is stunning!!! It really makes a statement, and it frames the house beautifully!! 💕🏡
I just love your presentations, even I a novice gardener can follow your helpful advice and ideas. Thank you for your time and hard work that has helped my own Iowa flowerbeds immensely! . . . Jan
You have worked sooo hard! Rest up this fall and winter. You deserve it.
It looks amazing so far 🙂
This girl loves a good garden tool. I have a chainsaw that I cannot use but friends help me with projects so I make sure I have great tools (Mostly Ryobi). I have a huge wheelbarrow that’s for others to use since mine is definitely “petite “. I love your videos, enjoy some over winter R & R!
Matthew, it a wonderful start to your garden! You have accomplished so much in your new space. Can’t wait to watch it mature into your happy place.
what about planting a weeping alaskan cedar pendula?? They are Magnificent evergreens!!
“To save…my neck…my back……..and my well being”. anyone else think he was going somewhere else with that one? 🤣🤣
Matt, you are a busy guy!! You have accomplished so much at the new property. I do not know how you do it. Whew!! Thanks for sharing and giving us ideas. Have a great weekend.
Beautiful property. I can’t wait to see everything wake up next spring and summer.
❤
Looks amazing….🎉
Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed… everything is looking beautiful ❤️😊
Matthew everything is looking so good!! Loving that sweatshirt with the Alabama state flag!🤩
Spray paint the stake green
Wow, Matthew! You've been kicking butt in the new garden💚.
I started using your style of no dig, contractor paper beds. Looking forward to spring planting.
This fall and winter I'll also be relocating some of my existing plants around to get better shade and sun.
Thanks for sharing your progress!
Everything is truly looking beautiful!! And!! Those huge skies behind you are absolutely stunning!! I know you’re beat but fall and winter are here! Time for relaxing a bit more and planning for spring with a nice hot cup of cocoa and snow falling!! I’ll be here for all of it!! ❤️💫🍂🍁🍂💫❤️
Thank you. I'm a relatively new gardener and never knew what they meant by a B & B tree. I now know. . .now, Google needs to learn it
What you have done in the short time you’ve been at this home is amazing! You deserve to slow down and I’m so glad you can. It’s time for lots of dreaming during the winter before spring brings on the heavier work once again.
You have been busy! Looking Great! Work smarter not harder my motto!
Matthew!! WOW! You have been busy! As always, it all looks amazing 💚
so much gardening! looking good. Large plant bed along walkway to front door is going to be gorgeous. And you have so much for winter interest. Congrats!
You've done an incredible amount of work since you moved in and made a great dent in your garden plans. Will you be including any wigelas in your gardens next year? Great video!
You have accomplished so much in such a short period of time. It's looking beautiful love what you have done so far. Time to rest! For me gardening always begins in January with the dream and planning. Will be exciting to see how all your hard looks in the spring. 😊
There are some spruces that are highly resistant to needle cast diseases, and do not require spraying particularly if planted in a sunny spot with plenty of air circulation. The Norway spruce is the top of the list – that is why there is such an effort to create cultivars that could be alternatives for the Colorado blue in places with hot humid summers like here in New England
Wow, you have done a lot. Looks amazing 😊
Looking good!
You have been so busy planting and all. It’s all gonna come together and be so awesome and I can’t wait to see it fill in. Loving the mixing of colors and textures! Are you a zone 6? I live in IN and I think I can use some of the same plants. The paper and mulch sounds like a great idea for the winter and help out so much for spring. Thanks for sharing all this. What on earth will you do in the winter when you can’t garden? A well deserved rest but we need to see videos to get us thru the winter. Lol
Great selection and colours.
Time for a bit of a rest soon….maybe a hibernation from the garden?
Love what you've done already.
Jo😊
Ok, time to put down some permanent sitting benches or chairs in the garden for day dreaming. It’s AMAZING how much you’ve already gotten done! ❤ What do you spray on your spruce?
You are very diligent and I love how focused you are for the next tasks that need accomplished. What a wonderful hobby gardening is! I sure appreciate your insight and sharing to help our gardens improve and grow beautifully too!
My mercy Matthew! You have done a ton of work! It will look so pretty as it fills in. You have a great property. Keep your eyes open for pesky country critters that might want to snack on your plants.
Matthew, who everything looks so good! This is going to be an absolutely beautiful landscape. Take care of yourself as you move forward.
So much fun! Beautiful plants. I can appreciate how much work you've done,i'm exhausted !
I was wondering if the Sweet Carolina redbud made it there. Can’t wait to see how she does after all those adventures. Had to laugh though when I saw where the banana plant ended up. Omg! That’s hilarious Matthew! 😂 Many gardening 🧑🌾 blessings to you. Now, go get some rest, and some chapstick. 💋
Look forward to all your vids!🌿
