You can grow full size Squash, Zucchini, Cucumber and Melon plants in 15-20 gallon containers. Setting up the soil is key. Shredded hardwood for a water reserve, lime & organic fertilizer and organic matter (to hold water) is the best way to set up the container soil for success.
