  1. I've learned the hard way it's always easier to dry things under shade with plenty of flowing air because it's hang it and forget it but hang in the sun and you constantly have to check them and rotate them and hope the seeds, veggies or fruit don't get ruined by too much sun.

  2. During my trip to Italy I was told Italians traditionally hung peppers around the house to ward off bad luck. It might just be part of the reason apart from just drying them out in the air.

  3. I dont think we can do this in my house. maybe the airing cupboard. everywhere is permanently 75% humidity lol

  4. I had a lot of red anaheim peppers so I hung them outside in the sun. We had a couple weeks of 100+ degree weather and they turned out great. Made a nice ristra.

  5. Why Italian 😂 you've become a Bulgarian grandmother (or baba), ask Jacque 😂

  6. That fishing line has probably been in a few bodies of water. Not a big deal at all, I just think it’s kinda funny 😊

  7. I apparently dry pepper like an italian grandma, good to know. I have been doing this for a couple years now and just did it one day thinking it was a cheap option instead of using my dehydrator lol

  8. Use a glove if you're handling hot peppers.
Proceeds to touch it with the naked hand.

    Great video anyway

  9. I'm italian, and I did it too. It's a nice way to do it, but give an eye sometimes for mold
