    If you use white PVC you can skip the mess, expense and eventual chipping of the paint (cause you didn't sand etch), if you paint the inside of the pipe with a reflective silver, it will reflect more light or add a dollar store mirror to the bottom, just burnish the back with a torch and apply a clear coat.
    I gave up this video after this "project"

    I live in Texas where the sun is like 6ft away from you at all times. That spray paint is going to bubble and get sticky in the hot sun and the hot glue is going to give out in about a week….

    As far as the bottle with the removable cork goes I would have left that on because of creepy crawlers getting up in the bottle and building nests also I might suggest taking some glass etch and frosting the outside of the bottle. You could make a design on the with the glass etch to give it a little extra decoration!

    Not bad! It’s a great little project to do with your kids and introduce them to various tools. Safety is paramount though, and when I say kids I’m referring to age appropriate.

    Its not pvc its abs and anyone that knows anything about abs it warps in the sunlight. If you lay a piece on the geound in the sun it will actually roll away.

    Black plastic pipe is calles ABS or ACRYLONITRYL BUTADIENE STYRENE, White PVC or Poly Vinyl Chloride is used for conventional water transport. ABS is used for human waste and toilet/bath water transport.
