Love Autumn! The most beautiful season. Been chopping up scavenged wood for the winter fires in our pit. Roll on Nov 5th! The compost pile is high but can always be higher! The seed box is ram packed! 🙂
Am i crazy or… Did i see you drive passed us at the Teifi pools a few weeks ago?
👍
Seeds = Currency…… yes, Sir! lovely presentation today. The notes are a nice touch! 👍🏻
❤
Thanks for clearing up what those things are that fall off trees, always wondered what they were, learn something new everyday 😁
LOVE you videos (and your accent 😂) cant get enough of them! Thank you
Whenever a crop/plant finishes if the chooks can eat it, they get it, my vegetable area in the autumn only needs tomato, pumpkin/Curbits, climbing beans and corn plants to be removed either to compost or burn pile. Once removed areas either raked ready for the next crop or mulched/composted.
I have implemented just about every style of bed into my garden. Raised beds, in ground, hill bed, sublevel in ground bed, and worm bed. My favorite raised beds are well stacked stones and filled in. The stones create homes for predator insects and small lizards, as well as crickets, which keep the lizards around. Very scenic. Never stop creating and growing! Happy Autumn
Just got my allotment 🙂 I was wandering what can I do to prepare it for next spring 🙂 Thank you for that video.
This is great! Love your videos. We just built what we call a sunhouse, similar idea, we can go there in the winter as well 🥶
Mr Huw, I miss your more frequent video uploads so much! 🙂
I'm with you on this, Huw. I don't believe that the phase of the moon or the "structure" of your water had any effect on plant growth. Data doesn't lie.
So inspired by all your ideas, thank you! I’m spreading the hedge clippings on my veg garden paths, deciduous and evergreen. No time to chop them, but I did it last year and they broke down eventually.
Sow multisown leeks 3-4 weeks later than single plantings.
That way they don't go to seed.
Hey Huw,
You do so much for the gardening world. Perhaps you need to take a break over the winter months and not push yourself so hard. So many achievements this year….
I recognise the signs… give yourself a break before it catches up with you healthwise. Sent with care and concern.
😂😂 9 well 11. I’m clearing beds and mowing my lawn/leaves too this week. Lovely update Huw have a great weekend, Ali 🌧️🌦️🌦️🇨🇦
