  1. Red skies this morning prompted me to add soil to my garden beds where I’m planting garlic and bulbs. Move garden furniture to be covered or brought in. Dead heading. Adding tables inside for my indoor plants. Probably last day I can have my house plants outside. Rain ☔️ is coming tonight as well, and our last frost date soon this month. 6A. Thank you Linda for always informing and inspiring. I’m realizing that so many of my garden touches and plantings are Linda Vater inspired however small in scale. I get so many compliments. I’ve even “pumpkinized” this season. Just a little. Lol.

  2. Linda I cannot even begin to tell you how much I enjoy everything you put on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and not your wonderful Emails!!! We live in a condo area so I can't garden, so I get to enjoy yours! You have worked wonders in such a short time. It is absolutely beautiful and has such a welcoming aura. I am so thankful you put links to items you have purchased. I have purchased many for myself and also gifted many! You take the guess work out of my shopping. I have recommended your channel to all of my friends. Stewart is a trooper….and now your beautiful surrogate Daughter-in-Law has completed your team. Keep it coming, You uplift, encourage, entertain and educate us.!!

  3. The garden is Looking lovely. The cushions are a great pop of colour! The mums are starting to pop as well
Will give some nice colour. A lot of butterflies 🦋 for sure! Today we’re taking down a smaller willow tree that has some kind of bug, doesn’t look good. Also going to take out the water pump from our water feature. It’s getting cooler at night. 🌳🪵🍁🌾🌼

  4. It is astounding how much has been done in such a short time. As someone who does all my own work I can appreciate the speed at which it has all come together. I have taken many of your ideas and tried to apply them to my space. Enjoy your videos and your product recommendations. Love my garden shed, mascara and Panama hat!

  5. The drought in South MS is getting deadly serious. I have lost magnolia trees and two water oaks. 😢 zone 8a/b. I never thought I would miss tropical depeessions 🌧️. Pray for rain! We have has no rain since early July

  6. My salvias never look as good as yours, after their first flush in spring they get eaten by something and look terrible, I then cut them back and it takes a long time for them to come back , I have one flowering now . Foxglove is another plant that doesn’t thrive for me as it does for you

  7. Hi Linda! I have been meaning to ask what is your safety plan for tornados. I hear the news and I immediately think of you and your safety. Never heard you mentioning a plan of if you had a close call. Thank you and the garden looks lovely 🥰

  8. Hi Linda. Love your backyard sooo much. It is so inviting and serene. Hopefully you’ll capture a few moments of the Friday night gathering. Wish I could come😉. Have a wonderful time. Take care

  9. I think the cushions are too bright for the area and need to be a softer color to blend in even if it is fall. And I still think the water barrel looks out of place and should be at the other corner of the garage. I know I’m the only subscriber to offer negative comments but occasionally at my age (79) and years of decorating experience I have to be honest, I love everything else in the space.

  10. Your front and back gardens look so inviting. I am amazed at the transformation in all that heat. I won't be in the garden today as it is raining. But I have a lot to do: transplanting, deadheading, weeding, mulching and the list goes on!!! We are getting our front garden professionally landscaped: contouring the soil, building stone walls and installing irrigation( we live on a low sand ridge). Then the fun for me begins. I went hog wild at COLORBLENDS: I ordered 900 tulips and 100 paper whites. Some will go in beds around our house and some will go in my cutting garden. The paperwhites will be used this winter and some for gifts. Love those new pillows.

  11. I love everything in the back yard but I am confused about something. Didn't you have the new windows painted gray to match the rest of the trim on the cottage on the hill?

  12. Here's a tip! The Red Mahogany Splendor hibiscus you have will die with first frost. Last winter, I took cuttings of mine and rooted them in water theoight the winter, then planted them early spring after last frost. They are 5 x 5 feet now in full Oklahoma sun, and I use them in my bouquets all the time for color variety.

  13. I was thinking with your raised planters that as the weather gets colder you could turn them into mini hot houses with some type of covers, maybe ☺️

  14. Get a kick out of people who comment on a label being inelegant left on a garage window while Linda is giving huge, huge amounts of life inspiration. 🤦‍♀️On another note, Linda I would love to know how the rain barrel is used. New concept for me. Thank you for such info and entertainment rolled into your videos. How to construct the backyard patio/rug was so interesting!

  15. Linda, I would love to see you and the S. man in coordinating outfits. Maybe a preHalloween outfit with a nod to “Green Acres.”😉

  16. I bought basil boxwood seeds. Do you think they will over winter or should I wait until spring? Can I start them in the house?

  17. I would love to see a monthly "To-Do" garden chore list put out by you. You may already do this. Will you direct me to where I may find it. You had just mentioned something you would be fertilizing in late winter for spring blooming. Thank you in advance.
