The reality of food scarcity is increasingly impacting various parts of the world, revealing a potential escalating global hunger crisis. Supply chains are continuously challenged by various disruptions including new outbreaks, economic upheavals, and catastrophic events, potentially leading to a revisit of the empty store shelves and uncertainty witnessed in 2021. Additionally, unpredictable weather patterns are impacting agricultural output, with farmers struggling to maintain consistent food supplies.
In this interconnected global landscape, a single disruption can have a ripple effect worldwide. Based on recent trends and observations, we’ve identified several essential food items that are most vulnerable to becoming scarce, especially with the approach of winter. To find out which foods you should consider stocking up on and learn more about how to prepare for potential shortages, watch the full video.

Wouldnt it be great if Democrats would become scarce
Extra population might present a problem in future starvation.
This is why I do a LOT of canning. I can meat, vegetables, fruits, pickled eggs, cheese, beans, chili, and a LOT of soup. I really love soup, but I don't think the stuff in the store deserves to be called soup, so I always make my own. I store plenty of dried goods such as pasta, rice, dried beans, pet food, powdered milk, etc. I am also well stocked on health and beauty items of all types. I think I have about 5 years' worth of bars of soap and deodorant. I have a hefty supply of toilet paper and paper towels, too. If anything can be stored, I try to store it. I like to keep on hand plenty of jars, lids, and rings, so I am always ready to do more canning. I keep my freezer full of food. I dehydrate many things, too. I vacuum seal dry goods such as pasta, rice, and pet foods in half-gallon jars so they stay fresh longer and are protected from bugs or rodents. Another very important thing I do is I stay 100% debt-free. It does you no good to be stocked up on everything if a crisis comes and you lose your house, and now you are homeless. You won't be able to take all of your preps with you. I have no mortgage or rent, car payment, credit card debt, or any other kind of debt. That way, if something happens, I will still have a place to live and a vehicle to drive. I also won't be worried about having any kind of debt. I have a lot of solar lighting options that I use every day. I bought solar lights on Amazon that I use on a daily basis. That way, when the power goes out, my lights are already in place and ready for use. I dry my clothes on the line so I am ready in case there is a time that I won't be able to use a dryer. I own a non-electric washing machine that I can use if I lose power. I have a composting toilet too. I do 95% of my grocery shopping at a salvage/discount grocery store where the prices are usually half of the regular retail price. I encourage people to Google salvage grocery to see what is available in their area. I also choose to live where I am only about one mile from our small town so that I can walk to town if I need to. I have a cart that I can pull that will hold about a week's worth of groceries. I heat with wood and haven't used my propane furnace for about five years. I also don't use AC in my house at all, even though I live in southern Missouri, where it can be quite hot. If the power goes out in the summer, I am not likely to die from the heat since I don't use AC anyhow. I do have a lot of fans, and even a non-electric fan. I encourage people to look at their preps now and get what they need before something happens. When the crisis hits, it will be too late to start preparing. You may be able to find some prepping supplies on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. That is how I got my non-electric washing machine. It was new, but I paid less than half the retail price. It isn't just important to be prepped with things, though. You also need skills and knowledge. You need to learn things like canning, baking, cooking, gardening, how to make repairs, and sewing well before a crisis hits. You need to practice when the time is good. I have a lot of books explaining how to do things. Everything is available on the internet as long as you have the internet. If the internet is down, you still need to have access to information. Another important prep to think about is your health. In a crisis, medical care may not be available, so it would seem wise to have all of our health needs caught up to the extent possible before a crisis hits. Wouldn't it be horrible to be in a crisis and have a throbbing toothache from a tooth that should have had care a long time ago? Are we doing what we can to take care of our health now? Do we need a dental visit, a checkup, a weight loss diet, vaccinations, or some other form of health care that may not be available in a crisis? Are you on medications that you may not be able to get in a crisis? Do you take medications that require refrigeration? Do you have a way to keep them cold even in the summer? I don't take any medications, so at least I don't have that worry. If you couldn't use your vehicle, could you walk two miles to a grocery store, put a week's worth of groceries in a cart or wagon, and pull it home, even up some hills? Would you have the strength and energy to split wood or wash and dry your clothes by hand? Do you have the supplies to do this? I am a single 64-year-old female with no family close by, so I give thought to being able to do these things.
Sounds like it's time for us to go back to growing our own food…

I despise these YT vids that feed the flame of impending doom…just use your brain and stock up from the store, maybe a bit heavier than usual. This video promotes hoarding and, in turn, price gouging. Just for the clicks. 👎👎👎👎
Lol oh my god the end of the world.
Rice is in short supply in the world. India which supplies rice to most of the world had a very bad harvest this year.
Something to think about.
The pathetic mantric drible of the climate crisis apocalypse clearly indicates that this is just another click bait alarmist trope.
If you are serious, at least do some actual research on the climate that isn't paid for by profiteers and eliminate one source of anxiety for yourself.

It's interesting that almost every food product you mentioned in this video attaches all these emotions to food. The most important foods on this list are salt and canned meats almost anybody can raise their own chickens and have eggs of course the biggest problem with this is the video expects everybody to be dependent on someone else to get their food. That is the biggest myth of all. If there's truly shortages of food most people would not be able to afford what is available.
I have been hearing this ages ago. Some people like to spread negative things around to get attention.
Does this kind of video feed into panic buying, thus causing a shortage??
