MINI VLOG 1: THE VICKS PLANT (PLECTRANTHUS TOMENTOSA) with a relaxing Menthol Scent



The Vicks plant, is a rare succulent perennial cascading herb, perfect for hanging baskets. It is named for it’s relaxing Menthol fragrance synonymous with the vapor rub. Vicks’ bright green velvety foliage has a minty, menthol aroma. It produces large quantities of showy, lavender blooms. Purple blooms are loved by butterflies and bees, but does a great job of warding of mosquitoes. “Tomentose” refers to the fuzzy, velvety coating that covers the whole plant. The undersides of the leaves are lined with raised veins and the edges are scalloped.
