The JAG Net Locker is a multipurpose tool. Firstly, and most importantly, it’s a way to retain fish for a short period of time without having the need to remove them from the water, transfer them to a sling, and then put them back in the water whilst you get things sorted on the bank. In this carp fishing video, CARPology’s Luke Venus runs through the spec and everything you need to know.

Looks like a nice bit of kit, but I use the Avid-lok down landing net holder, which does exactly the same thing but only costs £11.99!! As usual, jag are just taking the pi-s with their prices 😮😢
Or you could just use a rod rest head that locks 🤔
Too expensive
I have been using this for over a year and do use it all the time. It is well made but not without it's drawbacks, although not many that I have found.
1. I used a net float which got in the way. I solved this by buying the Aqua net arm floats.
2. The red rubber button tip came off somewhere, probably when putting it in my bag, still works though.
3. When using it with a fish I have noticed sometimes the bankstick can come loose and the net swings about, I tend to try to position it where the net handle is between some bank vegetation. Maybe an alarm O ring or a jag bankstick would hold more firm.
Good idea ,too expensive.
I use a long rod rest with a new direction magnetic butt rest this way the net ain't in the water till it needs to be
What an absolute load of bollocks 🙄
42.99 ??!!!!!!!! 🤯
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm sure it'll catch the tackle tarts. Personally, I use a head touch to find my landing net, but it's normally in the same place I left it before I bivved down. Love you guys and the channel so please don't think I'm a hater..
Blob your cable tie with a lighter. Those clipped edges are sharp.
Hey mate! This net is a regular scope, or black ops type?
£42……. Their on another planet 🙄
42,99…… 😂😂😂
I have wanted one for a while.
I really like Jag products and this looks like another well made piece of kit. However, I've been using a small 2 rod buzz bar with soft butt rests (E.g. Gardner Dual Gripper Butt Rests) for years and it does the job perfectly for a fraction of the price.
Great little peace of kit. and save’s trying to ram your expensive landing net handle into rock hard gravel, well worth the investment but id recommend having a 2nd net ready to go 👍🏻
I do like this but couldn't justify the price tag, maybe NDtackle will bring out a similar one for a fraction of the price in the near future. If this was £15 cheaper im sure they would fly out the doors.
Does it accomodate a net float?
Who dafuq need this???
What a load of crap.
As soon as they say ' made by Jag' you know its not going to be cheap. There are alternatives out there
Brilliant bit of kit.. my cousin is ex army & he's disabled (lost his leg) he said this has made his sessions so much easier
Been thinking about one of these prior to your review, look a good bit of kit 👍
another money making gadget do you really need this
How cool.. I'll be buying this
