A walk through my giant pepper garden plus some gardening tips

  1. Yeah, we've had the entire range or results when mixing soil, from perfect fluffy/firm, all the way to soil-cement, and the best thing to mitigate a bad soil mix is putting the plants in the ground where the different dirts can mix together. For us the difference between our large and small pepper plants is from their time of germination, so the best forty percent of the plants were put into the dedicated pepper area, and the rest were planted in bare spots in the rest of the garden, many of which got quickly shaded out by all the random plants in those areas, but they're still there, even if I have to harvest a little around them so they get enough light~

  2. Looking good! Fun to see how the overwintered plants are doing as well. And looks like you'll have, at least, an as productive season as last year!

  3. This is my third year growing super hots. I am a PLC member. I am looking for some information on how to over winter plants. Last season i decided to bring a couple plants inside at the end of the season and all hell broke loose. Aphids everywhere when the plants never had an infestation while they were outside. Any tips would be appreciated =)
