I got the Lady Sunbeam for Christmas. I think I was in the 7th grade. I shaved my legs Christmas morning and I was done with Christmas, lol. I think it was the first year I don’t get a toy.
I love these thrift trips with you and your mom! I think it’s so funny how you’re continually trying to up your mom’s clothing game. She reminds me of my mom, not as fancy of a dresser. She humors you well, though, she loves you a lot.

I, too, swap out rugs….a lot!! I have a nice stash of thrifted rugs that I've found. (not room size, but 4"x6" usually). I also thrift curtains/draperies for the change of seasons….and bedspreads/quilts!! All thrifted and I just cannot help myself when I see any of these things! 😁🤪 I had a fun day going with you and your Mom thrifting and I just love both your senses of humor….always a good time spent!!
