Using the concept of ‘rewilding,’ Mary Briggs designed a garden that is ‘2/3rds for the birds’, an idea sparked by Doug Tallamy in “Bringing Nature Home.” Using a combination of Oregon native plants and other drought-tolerant plants from around the world, Mary has created a beautiful and ecologically beneficial habitat that has low-water requirements and nearly always something in bloom for the pollinators to enjoy.

Zone 8. This was filmed in late July.

  1. My phlomis didn't bloom the first year either, but this year made up for it with tons of growth and flowers. So hang in there

  2. Absolutely beautiful with a natural plush feel. A job well done! Thanks for sharing.
