You have to make sweet potato slips and you can do it yourself fairly easily. Start an organic sweet potato by placing about 1/3 of the potato in water. Start them 60 – 90 days before they are ready to go into the garden. When the sprouts get 3-5 inches, cut them, and place them in water for 1-2 weeks. They will root and be ready for your garden.
