You’re such a class act
The wooden chairs in your overflow area is perfect for barbecue area matches your stairs and water barrel naturally.I’m going to glean your yard design LOVE it👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
OK, I pre-ordered my journal! And the baby printer too. The idea of garden photos to go in the journal is such a great one.
I agree, have always loved Bunny, but, I also like a more paced back look at this point in my life. We are 75 and building for the fourth time. I love Bunny,s book ❤and it certainly inspires me, but, in a more minimal way. You have done an incredible job with both your house and outdoor space. My only concern is that financially it’s not achievable for many of us. Please start realizing this and present content that more can achieve. Still, thank you, love your sensibility and design ideas.
The Christmas tree link is not the same tree. It's an all silver tree with a silver stand. Your tree looks green with silver tinsel and a brown stand. Maybe you only intended it to be a similar tree and you found yours somewhere besides Amazon.
Per the discussion of painting your neighbor’s fence and the rain barrel, Linda, I think it’s nice to have different shades of browns, the mulch, Linda Vater gray, etc. That is part of nature. And if you were to paint the rain barrel, the fence or anything else, then there’s additional upkeep every few years. So live with all the colors and shades as they are meant to be. Love you and all your videos. 😊
Fantastic episode! Thanks Linda!
Thank you Linda for all your inspiration! Home and garden has always played an important part of my life and I am embarking on some pretty significant changes on my beach cottage. Could you include the formula for the fence and trim color? I love it & it goes perfectly with the brick. Many thanks!
Want those shoes…please share!
Thanks for the Christmas board – mood board and sharing! I,too,am planning way ahead! ✝️🎄
Linda, How much of your new garden design would survive your summer climate without irrigation? What happens to your gardens if water restrictions begin? Climate change is here to stay. How do you address this? As heat and drought continue here in central VA, I keep/introduce only drought tolerant plant/evergreen shrub material, have no containers, and even save water from the shower! Gardeners are really challenged more and more.
My older children are so hard to buy for, so thanks for giving me the idea of the mini printer for thier Christmas gift.
Loved the video. I could relate bout your surgeon passing. My orthopedic spine surgeon rebuilt me with a 3 level spinal fusion in 2012. He had a massive stroke at 66 and passed. I will never forget him, as I had many years with him of treating. These special people will never be forgotten by us. Been enjoying your videos since the pandemic. Thk u Linda and Stewart
Linda. I’m amazed at how much you have been able to accomplish in the gardens in the intense heat and also in such a short time since you moved in. I love your pared down style inside. Kudos to you 👍👍❤️ listening to your inner whisper that it was time to go a new direction. It’s just right and soooo nice. Hugs from Ohio.
My suggestion for your side garden door is to make the door look like a Dutch door. Leave the bottom in place and only add the top half door. To add to your signature touches make the top of it to mimic the arched front door complete with a round window opening without glass, of course. The upper door could be made of solid wood or lattice to complement the the lattice work above your fence.
I thought pruning was a NO NO this time of year. NO???
No snakes–that's nice. Our neighborhood is always experiencing non-poisonous snakes as well as rattlesnakes, copperheads, and moccasins (Alabama). Lizards of several varieties, skinks, green frogs, an occasional toad, hummingbird moths, many types of birds (tons of hummers), bees, dragonflies, and wasps abound here in my garden!
We bought the metal hose & love it! Thank you for all your recommendations!
I love my hose!! No stress anymore with kinks!!
I do love the hose, and my landscaper did, too.
I have one of those pencil Christmas trees and it’s great for fitting in a corner.
You have transformed the house in a very short time 👏 You are blessed. I would love to downsize but there’s so many obstacles to that right now 😢
Great video.Grayson is a very good worker always smiling 😊
Your presentation of the rounded form using upside down hanging baskets is brilliant. I have some dipladenia that would look fabulous using the form of the baskets to mound. I’m excited to see how it will look. 💗
I have the faith it always look beautiful…you always have a great vision… it’s fun to see everything that you put together. Like I always say, let it be your design and enjoy what you enjoy not what everybody else does just saying…🍁🍂🧡💛Kaye
We love the garden hose & all of your knowledge dropping!
Where are the links please?
Thanks Linda for sharing your beautiful home and garden. Great tips and thanks to Hubs for the printer can't wait to get one. Disappointed to not hear what you were wearing and earing's. Love your hair style. Thanks
Linda, that neighboring fence is set up perfectly to add some wire and vining plants to…similar to Sydney’s old home
Put the flowerpots in the garage
Absolutely stunning!!!!
Greetings, Linda. We so enjoyed this video, also all others. We learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing all of the products to enhance our lives. Funny that you mentioned wearing white in the garden; I am a wet muddy mess each time I garden and I would never be able to look presentable after gardening. Love your SEPTEMBER BLUE theme; Chris
Rea wrote a wonderful song entitled SEPTEMBER BLUE, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7XICNyV8Pk
Everything is coming together spectacularly. Any reason you don’t use a hoselink like Garden Answer does? I have one & absolutely love it.
Brilliant idea to use a template (coir baskets)to make mounded forms! I am going to do that when pruning my boxwoods, thank you! (btw- your cottage on the hill is looking absolutely fabulous!)
