Great tips, thanks man.
I recently carved out a small village for myself in a cliff from a river and I've definitely got to get better at the 'keep some of the same elements' part, so this has been really inspiring. I've also never used the carved wolves, but they look fantastic, and I definitely want to try that trick with the item stands. I had NEVER considered spawning fish like that, and holy cow that's a game changer for the next location that I build in with a lake or pond. En re: the curved bridges, SurvivalSmitty has a pretty good walk through of how he made his (he also did an oriental-inspired Mistlands village), though he definitely said it was a time-consumer. I still haven't been brave enough to do that, but I'm considering it as something to do in the swamp.
I now definitely want to scout out some more places that have lakes or ponds lol Or I'll make my own. Thank you for posting this!
