My tomatoes, squash and Zucchini plant, particularly got decimated by usual thunder storm events in Memphis,TN.
Having a bumper crop of jalapeños and rutabagas.
For me, this was my first time container gardening. And my plants flourished before the storms. I actually have the confidence that I can grow vegetables, thanks to your channel.
Can I start planting things no thar can last being brought indoors and fruit.
I've been around plenty of dogs who like watermelon but you're right CK, Mac isn't one for the fruits. Next time put a steak on top of it.

Nice to hear that you read all the comments. I'm hoping you answer this question. Last year my small melons grew so nice in their big birdie raised bed, but rats got to them before I could. This year I moved the melon location and they are growing in small wooden boxes/up a nice cattle panel arch. The wooden beds are a little under 4' long and 10" deep. My melons (bush sugar baby, lemon drops and kajari varieties) are growing, but nothing is getting bigger than a baseball. Are the wooden raised beds too small or not deep enough??
I have never heard of winter gardening indoors but I recently heard you mention it. I am SO excited to learn more and grow with you!!! Approximately when will we start? Zone 8a Texas
