Thrips will devastate your plants and almost killed my absolute best, but here is the way to fix it:
1. Cut off or out the parts you see the brown damage with black spots.
2. Buy the Bonide systemic insect control liquid. It smells horrible but it turned my plants around fast! I bought a collapsible water basin off of amazon to soak my plants in to water them, and add the liquid per instructions to the water and soak them for an hour or so, then led it drain well.
3. Insecticidal soap sprayed onto a paper towel and coat the underside of the leaves and on stems, and on the soil top sometimes
4. Sticky traps do work if they hop off
This will eliminate them!

I think you have a white princess, not a white knight. Princesses can have pink coloration and will have pink linings on the petioles as your plant does.

Congratulations it’s a girl! He is probably a she and she is a white princess! The three white Philos look pretty similar and I actually bought an incorrectly labeled princess myself.
