Want to completely replant this area into a gravel Mediterranean-ish style (?) as it’s south facing, gets a lot of sun, and faces my bedroom. Won’t do any planting until the spring but when should I think about clearing, weeding and preparing the ground?
London, unsure of soil quality. Any good recommendations, tips or suggestions on how to clear the moss/Ivy/weeds and what things to plant are very welcome!

Pressure wash. It will be easier to see what needs doing. Maybe paint the walls.
Take out any of the big weeds. Cover in cardboard with compost/manure
