Mine mostly survived where they were putting out 2nd, 3rd sets of leaves and where the ground didn’t deep freeze. I lost my potted ones due to cold, but I was an idiot.
They seem to get through the cold quite well but were relentlessly attacked by slugs when it was wet, so they need some help with that or just be big enough to outdo them.
I’m really interested to know if you got another colour other than blue/purple. I bought a mixed colour packet a couple of years back but they were all the same sadly.
I saw a video of a lupine field, in New Zealand I believe. They were a beautiful range of pinks I’ve not seen with mine.
