I bought my first home in April and I’ve left the backyard alone since then. I was able to use some my moving boxes to start killing a small corner. The grass is mostly dead due to my intentional neglect but there’s still some weeds I want to be rid of. This part is going to get mulch and a raised vegetable garden. I’m so excited to start on my no-lawn journey 💜

Starting small is the best way to go! You learn so much by doing, but you’ll make mistakes along the way. I’m on my 3rd year of no lawning, and every year I learn new more effective ways of doing things as well as new and spectacular ways of how not to do things.
