I have two Dragon Scale Alocasias that I purchased at the same time over a year ago. I was only going to get one but then I noticed one with much lighter color and I was curious so I bought both. I thought they might have had slightly different growing conditions that led to the slight color difference. I expected them to eventually end up looking the same. It’s now been well over a year and they been growing under the same conditions but they’ve maintained their different tones. I’m partial to the lighter one but I do love the emerald hues in the darker one. Is there a lot of variation in color for green Dragon Scales?
