I bought this as a graft about a year ago, and now it is so much bigger than the stock it is on. Also, the other little pup on the bottom right if the graft hasn’t grown since I got it. Should I separate the BBG and root it on its own or just completely bury the stock? This is pretty much my favorite besides an Ikaros DNA that’s on its own roots (grown from seed) tbat you can see in the 4th pic.

Here is the 4th pic, which apparently didn’t upload correctly.

What root stock is that ?
Sorry I don’t have a lot of Input into this question.
I would say degraft, root and plant. But I am learning so don’t take my advice. Lol
I would cut the main pup.
You could cut at the base or leave a row or two of areoles if you want the graft to keep pumping out more pups.
I would definitely cut it at a little bit of angle if you leave some of the pup’s base attached so that water can slough off.
When I do that I’ll sometimes cut the angle off the base of the cutting so it’s flat and then try an areole graft with the left over wedge if it has enough material.
