    Ive had a terrible year tryin to grow on my balcony in containers but im not dispondent..im going to use all the usefull advise your channel gives next year..im also still trying to grow Salad and cress plus my five varieties of hot chillis-grown indoors are finally taking off..hope to see at least one or two on each plant…o far-got a dozen or so…many thanks for your channel Ivan

    I’m green with envy Ivan. Only today 6th September have I had my 1st ripe tomato. I’ve grown all cherry varieties due to my teeny tiny space, and the yellow cherry tomato I ate today was the BEST I’ve ever tasted. Totally organic and grown from seed. I feel like a proud mummy when her child wins a prize 😂. Hoping this late bout of sunshine will enable the rest to ripen. Courgettes seem finished, celery is doing amazing, grown from a shop bought one, left in water on kitchen windowsill then planted out at start of summer. Peppers have gone berserk, even my jalapeño again started from seed is doing amazing. I have a growing pace of about 18” wide by 10’ long. Been growing all toms in hanging baskets, most peppers in wall baskets, rest in pots. East facing yard…isle of Wight. You’ve given me loads of ideas and suggestions for 2024, I’ve got my seeds ready and it’s going to be a bumper year. Thanks Ivan

    I was today years old when I found out that supermarket potatoes are kept in cold storage for a year or more before they are packed for sale and put on the shelves 😱 I am so pleased I've started to grow my own due to that fact alone and your channel has given me the confidence to do that – this is my first growing season and it hasnt been the best year to start – ive written the remainder of the year off for now as I have some raised greenhouse style beds comming and I need to sort the garden out for those ready for next season but I am 100% keeping on with the potatoes sowing and growing for the rest of the year. thank you for giving me the confidence and encouragement to do so 😃
