I have grown orchids for
Years but never started with such tiny babies, they are very healthy, just arrived
From premium rare orchids. How do
I get them settled
In!
I watched each missorchidgirl video for each species, potted it once it got to that part and showed the best material.
Then found a location for it and went to the next.
Start by soaking all the roots in individual cups or whatever of pure water so they can get a drink while they wait.
Then I used tweezers dipped in rubbing alcohol to pull the sponge out of roots before potting. (This part takes as long as the videos usually so just go for it once the video is playing)
Looks like you got some fun ones! My Nancy Lee is pushing a pseudobulb already after 3 weeks. Also got a dude #2, excited to see a super green flower!
Tips: do not let moss touch their crown, only roots. They’ll need good moisture, but it will rot them fast. I put woodchips around the base as I went and moss around edges on one’s that need moisture. That tolumnia, mine is in pure bark for example as they are basically a succulent.
Dendrobium do not like wiggling once they start growing, use a small wire to clip them in place. I used bonsai wire. After 2 weeks they’ll be pretty sturdy.

Gonna need to know the labels first.
