newbie with two impulse buys… and I have some health concerns

So they all seem fine and dandy other than the first leaf on the bigger plant.. Should I be worried? Also I don’t exactly know how to care for these, what I’ve gathered is soaking them weekly completely submerged in water, drying them out upside down… But do they need something to grab onto? If so what should I be using? I also forgot to ask when they were last watered. Is there any way to tell if they’re due for a drink?
