My first time owning a house plant. It was looking kind of down and I replaced the potting soil and moved the plant into a larger pot. Not sure if I did anything wrong and not sure what to do from here on out cause I don’t have a green thumb.

Throw the fecker away.
Oh dear – fiddle leaf figs are notoriously fussy little things – not the easiest starter plant unless you really love a challenge LOL! I’m wondering if you’re being a little over zealous with the watering. Maybe dial it back to once a week. Then add in a diluted liquid fertiliser every other week. Your nearest garden centre can recommend a suitable one for a ficus. Make sure you’ve got lots of bright light around, but don’t place yours in direct sun or it could scorch a bit. But above all, persevere. Good luck!
Water only when dry. Indoors that’s maybe weekly or biweekly. Outdoors probably weekly. It needs a lot of bright light, but not direct sun right away.
Here is my fiddle leaf fig in my balcony that’s east facing. Thats how much it needs light—morning sun & bright light the rest of the day—at least 6 to 8 hours. The more, the better. The soil is also dry and it’s thriving. https://imgur.com/gallery/xzhmg0Z
Hope you salvage yours!!
Two years ago mine did that and lost all except two of its leaves. I moved it to a much smaller pot and put it outside where it received brighter indirect sun. It thrives out there, and is still growing now. These plants are fussy, yes, but also quite resilient when good conditions are provided. Good luck!
